HUNTING &
OUTDOOR
Most of my recent editing work has been for hunting
and outdoor businesses in Australia.
The footage is usually supplied by the client.
I handle the edit, story structure, sound, colour
and, when needed, remote direction.
Living the
Hunter Lifestyle
I went through several years of existing footage, built the structure around it and directed a new piece of talking-head footage for the opening.
The original talking-head footage was shot against a plain backdrop, which I replaced in post to fit the rest of the film.
Bow Hunting

One episode from Forest to Fork's
Diary of a Hunting Guide series.
There was no successful kill on this trip, so the edit
was built around the hunt, the location and the close
encounters instead.
2 Fallow Deer
in 1 Arvo
A public-land hunt with a client.
The edit was built from the footage Luke was able
to capture on the day, with additional context
recorded afterwards as a recap.
TRAVEL
FILMS
These were shot, edited and graded by me.
Most were made while travelling with a Sony A6300.
They're older work, but they show where I started
with filming and editing.
Spiti Valley
Through My Eyes
A solo trip through Spiti Valley in the Himalayas.
Shot on a Sony A6300. I documented the trip and later
cut the footage into two versions.

Kashmir:
Heaven on Earth
Footage from a backpacking trip through Kashmir.
The film moves between Srinagar, Dal Lake,
the tulip gardens and the quieter parts of the trip.
The Kurunji
Blooms
A short film about the Neelakurunji bloom
in the Nilgiris.
Shot on a Sony A6300 with a gimbal.
Edited and graded in Premiere Pro and Lumetri.
Chasing
Delhi
A montage from a solo trip to Delhi.
I built the edit around the music and cut the footage
to its rhythm.
I’m interested in edits that let a story breathe. Not edits that exist purely to prove that an editor was there.

WORK

Hackathon
Three-day hackathon in Bangalore.
Shot by me and an associate.
I handled the edit and colour grade.
The film was made to capture the event,
participants and the work happening across
the three days.
Platform
Asset
A product video made entirely with stock footage.
The same concept was produced in two formats:
a superwide banner and a standard 16:9 version.
cWarmer
A product explainer for Codilar's cWarmer
Magento product.
I wrote the script and handled the edit.
The presenter was recorded separately against
greenscreen, with motion design support from
another editor.
