I'm Fasil — post‑production and editing, out of Bengaluru, working mostly with outdoor and hunting brands across AU. This is a short, honest set of picks so you can see how I cut, before we talk about working together.
Forest to Fork — landing page film. Built from three to four years of Luke's raw footage, mixed formats and resolutions, some of it rough phone clips. Shot a new talking-head against a plain wall, generated a matching backdrop, and roto'd him in. It's live on their site now, and it fixed the page's bounce rate.
No film school — computer science, actually. Almost everything I know about editing and colour, I picked up online and from the people I've worked with, starting in Premiere and moving to Resolve once I began selling my own travel footage as stock.
I've run an agency before, so the unglamorous half of the job — file structure, naming, proxies, handovers — is already second nature. I'm not chasing effects; I'd rather find the story that's already sitting in the footage bin and let a cut carry it.
Most of what lands on my desk is shot on a phone or an action cam, by people who aren't camera operators and don't need to be. That's the gap I like working in — reverse-engineering a real narrative out of whatever's actually there.
